DIY Snowman Decoration
Create a cheerful DIY snowman decoration using simple and inexpensive materials. This project is suitable for Christmas decorating and is a fun way to reuse materials available at home.
Materials You Need
- White paper or recycled cardboard
- Black paper or cardboard
- Orange paper for the nose
- Colored fabric or ribbon
- Scissors
- Glue
- Markers or crayons
How to Make a DIY Snowman
Step 1: Prepare the Snowman Body
Cut three white circles from paper or cardboard in different sizes. Arrange the circles from largest to smallest to create the snowman’s body.
Step 2: Make the Face
Cut two small black circles for the eyes and several small black pieces for the mouth. Use orange paper to make a simple carrot-shaped nose.
Step 3: Add the Snowman’s Clothes
Reuse a small piece of colorful fabric or ribbon as a scarf. You can also add a small paper hat to make the snowman more festive.
Step 4: Decorate the Snowman
Add buttons, stars, snowflakes, or other small handmade decorations. Use markers to add extra details and give your snowman a friendly appearance.
Step 5: Display Your Decoration
Allow the glue to dry completely. Attach a string to the back if you want to hang the snowman on a wall, Christmas tree, or door.
