5. Label each pot
Write the name of each herb—such as basil, mint, coriander, or parsley—on a small label and place it in the appropriate pot.

6. Water gently
Water the soil lightly after planting. Keep it moist but avoid making it waterlogged. Overwatering can cause root problems.

7. Provide adequate light
Place the garden near a sunny window. Rotate the pots occasionally so that all sides of the plants receive light.

8. Maintain the plants
Check the soil regularly. Water when the upper layer begins to feel dry. Remove yellow or damaged leaves and occasionally trim excessive growth.

9. Harvest carefully
Once the herbs are sufficiently developed, harvest a few leaves or stems as needed. Avoid removing too much of the plant at one time.

10. Keep growing
Plant new seeds periodically so that you have a continuous supply of fresh herbs.

  • 🌱 Basil – excellent for cooking and salads.
  • 🌿 Coriander – useful for many South Asian dishes.
  • 🌱 Parsley – suitable for garnishing and cooking.
