Step-by-Step DIY Awareness Practice
Step 1: Focus on Your Breathing

Close your eyes gently and pay attention to your natural breathing. Notice the air entering and leaving your nose. Do not try to control your breathing—simply observe it.
Step 2: Observe Your Body

Starting from your head and moving down to your feet, mentally scan your body. Notice any tension, warmth, discomfort, or relaxation without trying to change anything.
Step 3: Listen to Your Surroundings

Pay attention to the sounds around you. Notice nearby and distant sounds without judging them as good or bad. Simply acknowledge each sound and let it pass.
Step 4: Notice Your Thoughts

Thoughts will naturally appear. Instead of following them, simply observe them as if they were clouds passing across the sky. Let each thought come and go.
Step 5: Observe Your Emotions

Ask yourself:
- How am I feeling right now?
- Am I calm, anxious, happy, or tired?
Recognize your emotions without criticizing yourself.
