Awareness is the ability to consciously notice your thoughts, feelings, surroundings, and actions without reacting automatically. Practicing awareness helps improve concentration, emotional balance, decision-making, and overall well-being. The following DIY exercise can be done at home, at school, or in the workplace without any special training.

Materials Required
- A quiet and comfortable place
- A chair or cushion
- Notebook or journal
- Pen or pencil
- Timer or stopwatch
- Glass of water (optional)
- Comfortable clothing

Preparation
- Choose a quiet location where you are unlikely to be disturbed.
- Turn off or silence your mobile phone and other distractions.
- Sit comfortably with your back straight and both feet on the floor.
- Keep your notebook nearby for writing observations afterward.
- Set a timer for 10–15 minutes.
- Take a few slow, deep breaths to relax your body.
