Complete Candle Making Kit: DIY
1Prepare the Kit
Open the candle-making kit and arrange the wax, candle container, wick, wick holder, fragrance, color, stirring stick and other supplied accessories on a clean working surface.
2Prepare the Candle Container
Choose a clean, dry heat-resistant container. Make sure there is no moisture, dust or oil inside the container before starting.
3Fix the Wick
Place the wick in the center of the container. Use the supplied adhesive or wick sticker to secure the bottom of the wick. Keep the wick upright and centered.
4Melt the Wax
Place the supplied wax into a suitable heat-safe melting container. Melt the wax using a controlled double-boiler method and follow the temperature instructions provided with your particular wax.
5Add Candle Color
If your kit includes candle dye, add a small amount to the melted wax. Stir gently until the color is evenly distributed.
6Add Fragrance
Add the fragrance supplied with the kit according to its instructions. Stir slowly and carefully so the fragrance becomes evenly mixed with the melted wax.
7Pour the Wax
Carefully pour the prepared wax into the candle container. Pour slowly around the centered wick and leave some space at the top.
8Keep the Wick Centered
Check the wick immediately after pouring. If necessary, gently adjust it so that it remains straight and centered while the wax begins to set.
9Allow the Candle to Cool
Place the candle on a stable, level surface and allow it to cool naturally. Avoid moving or touching the candle while the wax is solidifying.
10Trim the Wick
Once the candle has completely cooled and hardened, trim the wick to the recommended length for your candle and wick type.
11Decorate Your Candle
Add a simple label, ribbon or decorative design to the outside of the container. Keep decorations away from the area that will become hot during burning.
12Your DIY Candle Is Ready
Your homemade candle is now ready for use. Before burning it, check that the container, wick and candle surface are in good condition. Follow the burning and safety instructions supplied with your kit.
