There is no single “best” skin color. Black, brown, white, and every shade in between can be completely healthy. What matters most is the health and function of the skin—not whether it matches a particular beauty standard.

Can Skin Color Reveal Disease?

Pale or unusually pale skin

Yellowish skin

Bluish or grayish skin

Red or flushed skin
