A DIY phone stand is an easy and inexpensive project that helps you hold your smartphone securely while watching videos, attending online classes, reading recipes, making video calls, or charging your device. Most of the materials can be found at home, making it an excellent beginner-friendly craft for children and adults.

Materials Required
- 6–10 popsicle (craft) sticks or thick cardboard
- Hot glue gun or strong craft glue
- Scissors or craft knife (adult supervision required)
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Decorative paper, paint, or colored markers (optional)
- Rubber pads or small foam pieces (optional, for anti-slip base)
Tools
- Glue gun (or white craft glue)
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Plan the Design

Decide whether you want the phone to stand vertically (portrait mode) or horizontally (landscape mode). Measure the width of your phone to ensure the stand will fit properly.
Step 2: Prepare the Base

Arrange four or five popsicle sticks side by side. Glue two sticks across the back to hold them together, creating a flat rectangular base.
Step 3: Make the Back Support

Glue two sticks together to form a longer support. Attach this support to the back of the base at an angle of about 60–70 degrees.
