Fold the Paper

Choose a clean sheet of green paper and place it flat on a smooth crafting table. Carefully bring one side of the paper over to the other side, matching the edges as evenly as possible. Keep the paper straight so the fold forms an accurate center line.

Use your fingers to press firmly along the folded edge from top to bottom. Make the crease sharp and clear, but avoid tearing or wrinkling the paper. A ruler or the edge of a craft tool can also be gently used to strengthen the crease.

Open the paper again and look for the clear center line running down the middle. This crease will act as a helpful guide when shaping and cutting the Christmas tree, making it easier to keep both sides balanced and symmetrical.
