My Mother

My mother was 91 years old and suffering from several complications associated with old age. Watching her struggle with her health was a deeply distressing experience for me. She had difficulty breathing, her haemoglobin level in the blood was low, and she had lost much of her appetite. She often experienced discomfort and distress in her chest, which made me increasingly concerned about her condition. At that age, even ordinary daily activities could become difficult, and I knew that her health required special attention, patience, and care.

As her condition continued to trouble me, I felt a growing responsibility to ensure that she received proper medical treatment. I knew that breathing difficulties, low haemoglobin, poor appetite, and chest discomfort could be signs of serious underlying health problems, particularly in someone of her advanced age. I could not simply wait and hope that she would recover on her own. I needed to take her to the hospital, where doctors could examine her, identify the possible causes of her symptoms, and provide the necessary treatment. The decision was not easy emotionally, because seeing an elderly mother suffer can make a person feel helpless, anxious, and deeply concerned.

During such moments, I realized how important it is to care for our parents when they become old and vulnerable. They once cared for us when we were helpless children, sacrificing their comfort and happiness for our future. As they grow older, the responsibility gradually shifts to us. Taking my mother to the hospital was more than a medical decision; it was an expression of my love, duty, and gratitude toward her. I wanted to give her the best possible care, comfort her during her suffering, and make sure she did not feel alone in a difficult period of her life. The experience reminded me that love is not expressed only through words or memories but also through our actions, especially when someone we love needs us most.

I have to take my mother to Hospital.
